📖 Alıştırma 9: Reading – Our Weekend Plans

Ece and Mert are talking about their weekend plans.

Ece wants to spend Saturday outside, but she isn’t sure about the weather.

“It may rain in the afternoon,” she says. “We might have to stay indoors.”

Mert suggests going to a new café if the weather is bad. He also wants to invite Deniz.

“Could you call Deniz?” he asks Ece.

“Of course,” she replies. “But she may be busy because she has an exam on Monday.”

They decide not to make a definite plan yet. If the weather is nice, they might go to the park. If it rains, they may meet at the café instead.

While they are talking, Mert tells Ece about his childhood.

“When I was seven, I could ride a bike, but I couldn’t swim,” he says.

Ece laughs. “I was the opposite. I could swim, but I couldn’t ride a bike!”
